No Stairway Anthology – First Issue

Fanfiction, My Fanfiction, Supernatural Comments Off on No Stairway Anthology – First Issue

The No Stairway Anthology has just posted its first issue, and there are many, many fine stories to read. I’m pleased to say that “Out of Harm’s Way” is one of them. The basic premise of the anthology is as follows:

“The No Stairway Anthology is a collection of fiction, posted in digests of ten stories, presented in full by pre-posted publishing dates. The goal of the Anthology is to showcase fan works that are considered solid, appealing, original in theme or execution, re-readable, literary, and well executed. We accept Gen, Het, Slash and RPF/RPS works of between 1,000 and 10,000 words. Works previously published online or in ‘Zines are welcome, as are new works.”

One Night’s Compromise

Fanfiction, My Fanfiction, Star Trek Comments Off on One Night’s Compromise

One Night’s Compromise is now available on the Kirk/Spock Fanfiction Archive.

Here’s the premise: Spock has determined that the only way he can save his and Kirk’s friendship is to ask for a transfer. This he does, and of course, Kirk objects, and decides that he and Spock should go out to dinner to discuss what it’s going to take to keep Spock on the Enterprise. What it eventually takes is a surprise to them both. Word count: 12,405

That’s the story. But the story behind the story…yeah, there’s always another story.

The Flavor of Gold

Fanfiction, My Fanfiction, Star Trek Comments Off on The Flavor of Gold

The Flavor of Gold is one of the first fanfiction and slash stories I wrote. It is in the K/S fandom. You can view it here.

And, here is the description: While on shore leave, Kirk runs into Finnegan, who tells Kirk that he would not have been as successful without Spock. Kirk takes on a one-man mission in order to prove Finnegan wrong. (Kirk so has issues with this!) Meanwhile, Spock, wondering where his 3D chess partner has gone, goes after Kirk. He finds him, of course, and then the fun ensues! Word count 30,491.

Title: In Harm’s Wake

Rating: G
Pairing: None
Word Count: 13,151
A/N: This is a third story in the Aunt Sissy Universe. It’s not a sequel to the other two,
Out of Harm’s Way, or Safe From Harm, but more a companion piece that takes place a few years after both stories. Sam wanted to have his own story about her, and who am I to resist such a cute little face?

Title: Safe From Harm
Rating: G
Pairing: None
Word Count: 8,775
A/N: This is a second story in the Aunt Sissy Universe. It’s not a sequel to the first one, Out of Harm’s Way, but more a companion peice that takes place a few years later. I enjoyed the first one so much, I was loathe to let Aunt Sissy go by the wayside. The characters of Dean and Sam, as well, wanted to spend more time with her, and who am I to resist the will of a Weechester? Here tis then. Enjoy! (Also, there is a link to this story posted on my LJ as well as the supernaturalfic LJ.)

Fanfiction: Hour of Separation

Fanfiction, My Fanfiction, Starsky and Hutch Comments Off on Fanfiction: Hour of Separation

If Sky Blue and Black was harder to write and not very well received, than Hour of Separation was, in comparison, an easy to raise and well-loved child. This post is about that story, which you can read on Flamingo’s fabulous Starsky and Hutch site.

Fanfiction: Sky Blue and Black

Fanfiction, Life and Everything, My Fanfiction, Starsky and Hutch 2 Comments »

As I mentioned in my post about Velveteen Hutch, my goal to have Sky Blue and Black published to the S/H fan community was a rocky one. This post is about trying to get it published and how the story came about. The story is currently posted on Flamingo’s site. Read the rest of this entry »

Fanfiction: Velveteen Hutch

Fanfiction, My Fanfiction, Starsky and Hutch 1 Comment »

Once, long ago, I was very much into Starsky and Hutch fandom. My interest these days is peripheral, but I have fond spot for it in my heart, and always will. This fandom was the one that showed me what friendship was all about; nobody could love each other the way the boys do. For some reason, while in the fandom, I produced no songvids, and only five stories, only three of which ever got published. (The other two, I recently submitted to two fanzines, and they should be out in a year.) I guess I was more involved in reading the fanfic and collecting songvids than creating anything.

This post, in particular, is about the fanfiction Velveteen Hutch. Read the rest of this entry »

Fanfiction: Out of Harm’s Way

Out of Harm’s Way
Pairing:
None
Rating: Gen/G
Wordcount: 14,616
Summary:  Ramona Blessing meets up with the Winchester boys and becomes someone new in the process.
Author’s Notes: Oh man, this story was so much fun, and just seemed to come all of a peice. I had thought I would be writing stories about the boys as they are in the show, but after seeing Something Wicked about 20 times, I could not resist the whole idea of writing about the Weecheseters.
